Manor West Shopping Centre and Retail Park will host a information exhibition on Saturday, October 15th from 12 to 5pm. The exhibition aims to inform the local community and visitors to the centre of the organisations, services, sports clubs and the likes that are available right on their doorstep.
An array of information stands will be available in the main shopping centre, giving shoppers the opportunity to gather information and chat to representatives on topics such as wellness, health, fitness as well as education.
The event, which is free of charge, will also shed some light on the support services that are currently available locally to help people stay healthy in body and mind.
Radio Kerry will also be on site during the day chatting with some of the exhibitors, playing your favourite songs and there will be an opportunity to win some spot prizes!
The event, which is free of charge, will also shed some light on the support services that are currently available locally to help people stay healthy in body and mind. Speaking about the event, Derek Rusk, Centre Manager said,βThe hope is that by creating this awareness within the community of Tralee, it will encourage anyone who is looking for more information to come along and chat to the various organisations, to connect with them and hopefully find new avenues for hobbies as well as keeping well in themselves – something that can be more challenging as we approach the winter months. We hope that it will prompt people to join a club, get involved in a local organisation or to volunteerβ.
