Manor West was a hive of activity last weekend as the Taste of Tralee Food Fair went on across both days here in the mall. Radio Kerry joined us with Francis Jones broadcasting live from 11-2 from the outside broadcasting unit. The Food Fair proved extremely successful for the stallholders with many stating that it was their most profitable of all Food Fairs they have attended over the years at Manor West.
There were award winning food producers aplenty on the mall as customers were given a broad selection of tasty treats , from Fab Fudge to Harty’s Jellies, from Skellig Pantry to Full Circle Juices & Cordials, to name only a few.
Melanie Harty of Hartys Jellies stated “We definitely get a boost from events like this and people get a chance to sample products before they buy. They also get to meet the people behind the product, which is great.
Centre Manager, Derek Rusk: “We are always delighted to have the local food producers from “Taste Kerry” taking part in our own “Taste of Tralee” Food Fair. It gives us all here in Manor West great satisfaction to assist local food producers to meet new customers and to help drive their sales and productivity. We are only too happy to help!”
We’ll be having more Food Fairs and other great events between now and Christmas, so keep checking www.manorwest.ie or Facebook and Twitter for more details as they are posted!!
