>> >> Calling all Tralee’s Miniature Picasso’s - Manor West’s Birthday Celebrations Colouring Competition To celebrate the 10th Anniversary of the Manor West Retail Park, local children are being encouraged to join in the celebrations by entering a special colouring competition to mark this landmark birthday. Local Artist Vivienne St Clair, who has an art gallery in Manor West, has designed the special birthday entry forms and she will also have the tough job of judging the competition.  Entry Forms have been distributed to all Tralee primary schools and the competition will be in two categories- Junior Infants to 2nd Class and 3rd class to 6th class. Derek Rusk, manager at the Manor West retail Park stated “I called to all the schools personally and was delighted with the response I received. Already some of the schools have been back on to me looking for additional entry forms – so it’s so good to see so many children want to wish us happy birthday. We want to make the birthday celebrations a community celebration. Manor West is very much part of the Tralee community and we thought this would be a great way to get the kids involved.” As part of the birthday celebrations Manor West will be launching a brand new Multi Store Gift Card and the lucky winner of each category will receive a €100 gift card to spend in any of the stores in Manor West and a €500 Manor West Multi Store Gift Card for their school as well as a School Trophy. Each second prize winners will receive a €50 Multi Store Gift Card and a €20 Multi Store Gift Card for third place in each category. Closing date for the Competition is Wednesday 26th October and the winners will be unveiled by Vivienne and RTE Personality Brendan Courtney on Saturday 5th November 2011as part of the birthday celebrations. The entries will also be on display during the birthday celebrations at Manor West. As well as this colouring competition, this week Manor West has launched the search for the Manor West Charity of the Year 2012. Ten local charities have been selected and voting commenced last week through the Manor West Facebook Page and through an in store-vote.
